HAMMERHEAD FRENZI Adjustable Dragon Boat Blade- TAIAHA 12k Carbon Paddle
The blade features a traditional Māori-inspired taiaha design, symbolising strength, authority, and mana. More than a weapon, the taiaha is a taonga (treasured heirloom) representing the warrior spirit, courage, and leadership of its wielder.
This symbolism reflects the qualities required in a Dragon Boat: physical and mental strength, focus, discipline, and resilience. Traditionally carried by chiefs and skilled warriors, the taiaha embodies leadership and connection to ancestry, while also representing protection and the ability to stand strong for your team.
The paddle is fitted with a uni directional anti slip shaft developed to assist grip consistency and reduce reliance on wax or gloves during extended sessions. The adjustable shaft configuration allows paddlers to fine tune paddle length to suit individual preference and crew setup. The paddle is IDBF Licensed and manufactured to comply with recognised Dragon Boat racing standards.
