Description
PAi TORPEDO AMA incl Aluminium Iako Set – Extended Waterline AMA System
The PAi TORPEDO AMA is supplied as a complete set including aluminium Iako (crossbeam). The AMA features an extended waterline design compared to a standard banana-shaped AMA and is configured for outrigger canoe applications requiring lateral stability and directional control.
The extended waterline measures approximately 1 metre longer than a standard banana-shaped AMA. The bow profile is shaped to enter oncoming waves rather than lift over them, supporting forward momentum in upwind conditions. In downwind conditions, the forward section of the AMA provides support at the front of the canoe while the bow profile is shaped to engage and move through waves ahead.
Designed for varied wind and water conditions, the PAi TORPEDO AMA supports stable rigging performance and forward tracking across training and racing environments.
